On Friday, 8th December, 13 year old Silvana Motua from Futuna won a Lenovo v110 laptop, valued at 49,500vt, on her first go at hitting a ping pong ball into Nasi’s mouth at the ODC Computers tent at Korman Stadium during the Pacific Mini Games.

ODC Computers, strong supporters of Team Vanuatu Table Tennis, are running two competitions during the Games – guess the number of ping pong balls and hitting a ping pong ball into Nasi’s mouth. Glen Korikalo, General Manager of ODC computers, congratulated Silvana on her skill when handing over the Major Prize.

ODC Computers has sponsored the Vanuatu Table Tennis uniforms, and congratulates the entire Vanuatu Table Tennis team for their achievements during the first week of the Games.

“It is a great sport to be involved with,” said Olaf De Ceuster, Owner of ODC Computers. “To see athletes compete at the elite level across the Pacific, and enjoy watching a sport that is inclusive of a para sport – the skill and intensity of competition – is exceptional. We are very proud of Anolyn Lulu, Yoshua Shing and all the Table Tennis Team – playing in front of a home crowd is inspirational.”

ODC Computers are also in discussion with Oceania International Table Tennis Federation for future championship events to be held in Vanuatu in May, 2018.

Head down to Korman Stadium to the ODC computers tent – and try your table tennis skills getting the ball in Nasi’s mouth or guessing the number of balls to win a prize!
